Elizabeth Roberts Architecture & Design is seeking an experienced senior interior designer to join our team. Ideal candidate should have exceptional visual skills to compliment our varied projects and at least 10 years of design experience. Ideal candidate should have confident presentation skills and experience as a team leader and mentor to junior designers.


• Active in the development and direction of growing Interior Design team
• Attend meetings with potential clients
• Develop and coordinate design concepts and functional requirements of a project from initial meeting through construction
• Lead client presentations and meetings
• Project Management, including oversight of junior team members, responsible for development and accuracy of project budgets and timelines, purchasing, and proposals sent to clients
• Act as liaison between the design firm, vendors and sub-contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to oversee status & progress of fabrication and construction
• Collaborate with project architects on fixture and finish packages
• Preparation of lighting, finish, and furniture plans and schedules
• Design & Drafting; including space planning, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, and millwork details. 
• Experience with architectural details, including plumbing, electrical and construction drawings, preferred but not required


• 10 years of experience in Interior Design
• Extensive project management experience
• Knowledge of high-end brands, sources, showrooms and retail stores
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and ability to sketch by hand
• Personality that thrives in a very close-knit team setting; excellent interpersonal skills and customer service sensibilities
• Exceptional level of attention to detail and a mastery of organizational and time management skills
• Experience with billing and contracts for interior design
