"When left to my own devises, I approach fabric as tailored clothing I dream to wear," explains Brooklynite Elizabeth Roberts, of Ensemble Architecture. Known for her sleek sophisticated spaces that impart much-needed warmth to the borough's urban topography, Roberts sketched to life a structured perspective enticed by Mokum's Metropolis fabric. "I was drawn in by the minimalism of the black and gold geometric," expounds Roberts, "and the resemblance the pattern shared with drawings I've been doodling for years." Sharing the spotlight is an 1866 brass faucet original to Roberts' Italianate brownstone.
