The Academy Lane, Bellport House is located in one of the Bellport Village, Historic Districts.  It was originally constructed in 1850 though it was added to significantly over the last decade.  The original house contains the living spaces, a free-standing screened-in porch provides a place for outdoor dining in the summer months and an historic red barn provides guest accommodations.

Our work was limited to the interiors of the property--we created custom millwork and installed plumbing fixtures, kitchen appliances, historic mantles, lighting, and furnishings throughout. In the dining room, built-in millwork was designed that runs the length of the room to provide casual seating with an outdoor denim fabric cushion above and storage for games below.

The result is an “unfussy” house outside of the City—a historic family home with modern yet comfortable furnishings that compliment and contrast with the vintage and original elements found throughout the house.
